Mercedes-Benz has announced that 4 vehicles have been affected by a Transmission recall.
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2019 GLA 250 vehicles. The power supply for the automatic transmission control unit might be interrupted while driving, possibly causing the transmission to shift into neutral.
If the transmission shifts into neutral while driving, there would be loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will replace the transmission control unit, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 30, 2021. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
