2021 BMW X4 Fuel Tank Recall

BMW has announced that 17 vehicles have been affected by a Fuel Tank recall.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2021 X3 sDrive30i, X3 xDrive30i, X3 M40i, X3M, and X4, and 2021 X4 xDrive30i vehicles. The inlet check valve weld may fail, allowing the filling pipe to separate from the fuel tank.

Fuel may leak through the failed weld, increasing the risk of a fire.

2021 BMW X4 Recall Fuel Tank

BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel tank, free of charge. The recall is scheduled to begin May 17, 2021. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
